Chris has been making his living as a guitarist since the age of 17. His influences are many but the most important are the Beatles, Jeff Beck, and Eric Clapton.
Formal musical education has also been key to Chris's development as a guitarist, borne out by the fact that Chris holds a degree in Composition from the Royal Conservatory of Music. As a Member of the College of Examiners, Chris is able to indulge his love of music history and the subtle language of harmony.
One of the original members, Chris no longer plays live with The Swellheads, but keeps a very busy teaching and recording schedule, including time in the studio with Dave. Stay tuned for more recordings from the two of them.
